Hollywood native Jo Martin got her start in the film industry as a driver for visual effects master Peter Kuran at VCE, Inc., in Hollywood. Where she spent years serving in various capacities including production assistant, stage manager, props, wardrobe, videography, visual effects editor and eventually video editor. Martin’s credits include “Robocop,” “Beetlejuice,” “The Addams Family” and “Starship Troopers.” After VCE, Martin spent three years as an animation editor with Hyper Image in Glendale, where her credits include “Trollz,” “Horseland” "Dino Squad" and “Strawberry Shortcake.” Her side projects include a short video about The Exotic World Museum, now known as The Burlesque Hall of Fame Museum and for the past four years, Martin has worked with the executive team from Carlton Hair International directing, shooting and editing video shorts for their annual Hair Show & Award Ceremony.
